Hey there, just checking if I can play Grand Theft Auto 5 on my new PC. Got a Pentium G3258 at 4GHz, Sapphire R9 280, 3GB RAM, Kingston HyperX Fury Blue, plus the rest of the specs.

CPU options include Core 2 Duo E8200 at 2.66GHz or Phenom II X2 545 with Nvidia GTX 570. RAM should be 4GB, and the OS runs Windows 7, 8, or 8.1 in 64-bit format. A 50GB HDD is recommended. For better performance, use a CPU Core i5-2500T at 2.3GHz or Phenom II X4 975 with GeForce GTX 670. RAM needs 6GB, and again Windows 7, 8, or 8.1 in 64-bit should be used. Latest reports suggest these configurations will work well, with GPUs offering 750Ti/265 for minimum specs and 760/280 for recommended.

It seems you're checking for compatibility with a 64-bit Windows 7 or newer version. (Vista is not supported.)

Someone is inquiring about something we don’t understand. Still, you should be okay.

The level of threading affects the settings needed for smooth performance. Exceeding two threads can cause noticeable stuttering on the G3258.

Thanks for the feedback. I plan to purchase an i5 4690k eventually, but I don’t aim for maximum performance. My goal is to achieve around 30-60 FPS at 1080p with medium graphics settings.
