You're currently using hamachi. When one instance launches a game, the other can connect via console and enter "Connect (host Hamachi IP)" to join.

It depends on the setup—typically you enter the host's Hamachi IP directly, and it will assign you an IP automatically.

Begin a Hamachi network and set its name and password. Invite your friend to join the network you created in Hamachi. Load the network into your Garry’s Mod game. Your friend can right-click your name in Hamachi and copy your IPv4 address when connected. In the GMod console, your friend should type “connect” followed by the copied IPv4 address, then press Enter.
