10-13-2016, 05:42 PM #11It will likely happen eventually when they understand that selling on the PC platform could generate more income. In the meantime, we still have plenty of other enjoyable games available, including some more affordable options.

FF13 lacked any graphical settings. It was capped at 720p and fixed FPS from the start. The Steam forums were filled with frustrated players. The same happened with FF13-2. It seems Square Enix didn’t change their approach, delivering the same issues again. I had pre-ordered both titles

10-19-2016, 04:48 PM #16They focused all their efforts on portable devices and quick profits, which didn’t satisfy them. They made the purchase and, in my opinion, harmed Enix. Now they’re shifting to silicon-based solutions and crystal dynamics, and I hope Square’s leadership will follow suit. It seems they’re not even familiar with JRPGs anymore, which is why I’ve lost interest for a while. Still, I’m confident they’ll release a half-baked remake of FF7 soon.

10-19-2016, 06:23 PM #17I really hope so. I believe the graphics were severely downgraded going from the original gameplay trailer and the most recent console gameplay videos. I don't have a source for that I just remember seeing it somewhere so it could be total bologna. But if true, it's more than a shame for a game I've been waiting like 10 years for. I'd say I guarantee we won't get a PC release, but then again the game was supposed to be PS3 exclusive.
