You're considering a fallout game and need advice on which one to choose. Let me help you decide! Which specific game are you thinking about? Each has its own unique experience, so sharing more details will help me suggest the best fit for you. Thanks!

I enjoyed both games after investing at least 100 hours in each. It's been a while since I played 3, but you're either into DC or Vegas. Some said DC felt more premium while Vegas had a stronger vibe. Both are affordable, especially during major Steam sales where the full edition is about $5.

Fallout 3 offers a richer atmosphere and a more realistic feel compared to the original two. It stands out as my top choice among all my favorite games. New Vegas has its own charm, but it mostly followed what New Vegas did. If you're looking for a city to explore after destruction, go with Fallout 3. For an endless desert experience, New Vegas is better. I didn’t have to worry about radiation in New Vegas; it was part of the survival mechanics there. Everything New Vegas added—like Iron Sights and improved followers—was already present in 3. In my opinion, Fallout 3 surpasses Fallout: New Vegas.

Fallout 3 offered a more satisfying overall journey. New Vegas provided engaging moments, though it felt like moral choices often led to inevitable outcomes. Many missions tried to blur the lines between good and evil, making it hard to distinguish clear victories or defeats. Some quests seemed designed to highlight gray areas, leaving players questioning what truly mattered. Certain monsters also appeared somewhat unbalanced during that section.

I had a great time playing Fallout 3, spending about 200 hours on it. I haven’t started NV yet, but TotalBiscuit and Logan from TS both gave it higher scores than Fallout 3, so it seems like both are solid choices.

I like Fallout 3 the most. In my opinion, NV is likely the stronger title, but it's hard to surpass the vibe of Fallout 3. The soundtrack in Fallout 3 is amazing—it really sets the tone, even though some disliked the sewer scenes. I haven't played NV recently and just wrapped up around 100 hours in it. Please let me know while you're away!

You need to schedule a meeting. My availability is locked in for the following two months, and every time I use time travel to go somewhere, new Legionary Assassins appear.

Many believe F3 offered a superior experience, while New Vegas stood out for its overall quality. The campaign aimed to make F3 more concise.
