Hello everyone... I hope everyone is doing well. Stay safe and healthy. As we all understand, we might finally be able to get our hands on the software masterpiece Elden Ring in just a short time. Many of us, including me, are still unsure about which platform to play it on—PC or PS5. I don’t have any friends who play video games, so I’m not facing any issues with either option. I own a decent PC setup, but I really enjoy the haptic feedback experience on PS5. Please share your thoughts and opinions!

Would you prefer to play it using a controller? If yes, consider getting the PS5 version. If not, I’ll have to rely on chance.

I’d pick the PS5 edition if you’re okay using a controller and need the vibration feedback.

I reviewed the Iron Pineapple game after spending over an hour, and the main issue on PC was rare minor lag spikes in the overworld, probably from loading areas. It might be fixed in the first patch update.

Thanks @Fasauceome for sharing your thoughts. Based on what you mentioned, I think I should consider buying it for the PC. I was hoping to take advantage of haptic feedback. Regarding graphics, I assume software games aren’t very demanding, so the difference won’t be huge. As for gameplay, I don’t have much clarity yet.

The PS5 offers impressive visual quality for graphics. For capturing gameplay, the console likely includes a recording function built-in, which should work well.

Absolutely, that's accurate... My main worry is cross-play. I'm curious about the player count for the simulation... I don't want to miss seeing pro players like you Smile Also, is it harder than the DS version?

It's challenging in certain aspects, yet the gameplay offers a broader experience and the open world enhances accessibility.

I chose the PC/Steam edition because of their 14-day/2-hour return policy. I’ve used it before and found it straightforward. If the game meets expectations, I often buy several copies across platforms such as Skyrim. Good luck and enjoy!

I began playing it independently and it’s a truly remarkable journey. Within just an hour I noticed the profound layers hidden beneath, and the regions I’ve uncovered are full of surprises that keep me engaged. A lot remains to discover, whether you’re a seasoned player or new to the genre.
