Hairworks significantly boosts performance, dropping frame rates from the 40s to the 20s. With a 660 Ti SLI configuration, I achieved around 60 FPS at full settings.

I was testing a hairworks tool discovered on Reddit for AMD use. It didn’t noticeably affect performance, though I’ll turn it off next time to check if my frame rate improves.

There was a recent update that once heavily impacted performance because of the 8x msaa per strand. Now you can pick your AA and choose between low and high quality, with the assumption that higher settings mean more strands. The draw distance for the bushes also plays a significant role in FPS.
