Hello everyone, I recently purchased a DVD version of Cod mw2, but when I inserted it into my PC, it didn’t prompt me to choose an application. In the file manager, it asked what to do with the disc, offering only the option to use it as a USB drive (which failed due to blocked writing). I’m unsure how to proceed. Help needed!
Open the disc's files in your file explorer. Check the contents—it probably contains a manual and an installer that will take you to Steam or another activation service.
The disc instructions mention labeling each copy as "Disc 1" and "Disc 2." Insert the first disc into your DVD drive and run it. Clarify where you purchased the game—whether from a friend or an official retailer. If unsure about the content, you can capture a screenshot of the disc to help with installation. It should open Steam automatically for setup.
