Hey everyone, just a quick question that might not be straightforward. I understand using Steam Remote Play to run a game on my PC and play it on a laptop elsewhere. It’s pretty easy to set up, but because of the way it functions, it takes over the main system for the mouse and needs the game to be active, which means I can’t run another game at the same time. What I’m after is a method to play two games on my PC—one via remote so a family member can enjoy a game on their laptop while I’m playing mine. Since my computer is powerful enough for this, it would save me from buying a new gaming PC or paying for services like GeForce NOW. Any ideas or suggestions would be really helpful. I’m also open to exploring more technical solutions if that’s an option.

I initially wanted to skip using the VM but that was only because I thought paravirtualizing the GPU would be tricky without some complicated fixes. Now it’s much simpler—I just need to run a couple of PowerShell scripts and it’s done!
