Hey there, I noticed the game keeps crashing during loading without any BSOD or errors. It seems like DX9 might not be supported anymore. If that's the case, what options do you have to play Borderlands 2 outside of DX9? Thanks!

You purchase the game's source code (a few million dollars should cover it), then move it to a newer DirectX version (about a couple of months for a skilled developer). In short: you won't. The engine only works with DX9, so that's the only option. If you installed it, did you patch it to the latest release or use Steam? Steam usually handles optional runtime components automatically.
