You're experiencing audio issues after extended use, which suggests the problem might lie with your audio drivers or software settings rather than the hardware itself. Checking for updated audio drivers or resetting them could help. If the issue persists, it's possible a faulty motherboard component or driver conflict is at play.

No, I haven't checked that yet. Have you looked into downloading the audio driver for your motherboard?

If you google it (Cezanne audio crackle/pop) it seems to be a common report and one of the 'fixes' was to set your primary PCI-E to use only 8 lanes. I'd give that a try if the option exists.

BIOS and chipset drivers are often outdated, but at least one of them has been updated. Did you install chipset drivers from AMD or MSI? It’s a pretty bad motherboard, but audio should work fine with the correct drivers. “Popping” usually means crackling sound. Updated September 19, 2024 by Mark Kaine

Maybe it's just a crackling sound.

Adjusted the SOC voltage to 1.150V in the newest BIOS. Previous compatible BIOS settings reduced PCI speeds and VDDD voltage; even disabling HD audio helped. The fix came from increasing the Infinity Fabric voltage. Now I can attempt further adjustments, but the issue is resolved. It's been about 84 hours without problems, and I've removed all other changes except this voltage increase—though it wasn't sufficient alone. You should now choose AMD overclocking first, then adjust SOC voltage again, not VDDD.

It seems like a surprising solution worked—probably through the BIOS settings. It’s odd since every time I encountered that strange noise, I just updated the chipset drivers and it resolved the issue.
