I wasn't aware the dominator platinum included lighting features. It might be an RGB model. Check if your app supports configuring it, and consider alternatives beyond iCue if the current one doesn't work.

From what I observe, they glow brightly in this hue. Corsair indeed offers the 'Dominator Platinum RGB' switches, giving a notably distinct appearance.

The typical Dominator Platinum only illuminates in a single hue. With RGB RAM, Corsair’s iCUE app lets you adjust the colors.

I thought it was strange they barely highlight the presence of a light on the Amazon listing. Maybe I’m missing something. Either way, I expect a performance reduction of about 10%.
