Focus on software and skills rather than just equipment. PC gamers often prioritize customization, online play, and technical knowledge, while console gamers may lean more on gameplay mechanics and hardware compatibility.

One could say the gap changes when we look at keyboard + mouse versus a controller, especially without aim assistance. Still, some people will remain problematic. Be careful.

I’m curious about the reason Overwatch isn’t available on multiple platforms. It seems PS4 is limited to that console, Xbox One only works with XB1, and PC is the only option. My friends use a PC for Overwatch, which is pretty cool! What do you think?

There is no variation, though it varies a lot based on the games you play—CSGO, LoL, Battlefield or COD.

It seems the gap varies by game type. PC players will likely benefit more from a mouse and keyboard than a controller.

Overwatch isn't designed for multiple platforms since the PC players would really struggle with the console version. Using a mouse and keyboard is much more suitable for shooters.

1) When you assemble your own PC, you handle the repairs yourself.
2) Controllers work well on PCs, though a mouse and keyboard are the top choices.
3) Skip couch gaming unless you use a wireless controller. If you watched Linus' video, you'll understand the point.

I don't have the exact details on why Blizzard restricts Overwatch matchmaking to a specific platform. However, I believe a key challenge is that mouse and keyboard play are a significant edge over traditional gamepads in shooters. You need to compete with others using Xbox pads, but cross-platform play is uncommon overall. It appears in some games like Rocket League where analog and digital controls don't clash as much.

If a part fails, you can reach out to the maker for a replacement. You won't be soldering unless you choose to, but fixing power issues usually means taking the device out of its case and swapping it.

Be ready for various fixes. Because the system is modular, problems can come from either hardware or software. In games, there are settings beyond just volume and controls.
