Hello, your upcoming move will involve two floors, unlike your previous single-story home. You're considering using an older Cisco router with limited Wi-Fi support and a dedicated TP-Link access point. In your current setup, the AP is placed centrally on the ceiling to cover wireless areas. You're wondering if a similar configuration would work better on either floor, especially since each floor covers a small space. Thanks in advance for your guidance.

Only after installation can you be certain. If it doesn’t provide the necessary protection, you’ll have to switch to another AP.
