Planet Coaster 3k is a small venue, not a huge park, and it struggles with high frame rates. My setup includes an i7 7700K CPU, two 1070 GPUs, and 32GB RAM. Temperatures are normal. I’m seeing up to 25fps, which makes sense because only one GPU is fully loaded while the other runs at just 5% in Task Manager. The CPU consistently hits around 65% during gameplay. There seems to be no fix listed, but it’s running poorly even at low or ultra settings. The issue appears to be with GPU utilization and overall performance. I can only play for about two hours before the park becomes too crowded to maintain 25fps.
Planet Coaster lacks SLI compatibility, which might be affecting your experience. However, if it functions normally without SLI enabled on a single card, I’m unsure what’s causing the issue. Sorry for the confusion.
I think I'll hold off for a few decades until quantum computers are powerful enough to play that game correctly xd
It's odd the frame rate stays consistent across different settings. I managed around 20-30 fps with 4-5k players on 7700k and 970 medium configurations. The game seems to be quite demanding on the CPU.
I explored planet coaster extensively, with many players and a huge park setup. Despite having an i5 4460 and 1060 6GB RAM, I remained stuck at 60 FPS. It might not be the game itself, but I suggest checking the game files.
