Certainly! Let's clarify that decision.
The 3900x and 3950x models indeed required water cooling systems with AIO (All-in-One) designs to manage their heat effectively.

For virtual machines? Probably not, but you can install the EVGA CLC 280 360 and add two more case fans.

Receiving advice on parts isn’t the same as understanding what you actually said. You need to grasp the distinctions between components and their relevance. If you can’t tell the difference between DDR3 and 4, it’s best not to build a computer—there’s much more to learn.

NH-D15 performs similarly to most AIOs. ^^^ These are actually excellent products, particularly the CLC 280. From the GN review I learned the 360 model is solid too. I owned both the 280mm and 120mm versions, and they were quite impressive.

It's more complex than just understanding the distinction between DDR3 and DDR4. To build a solid system you must know which motherboards perform well or poorly, which cooling solutions fit, which power supplies are reliable, which SSDs work best, whether everything will actually work together, and PCPP sometimes makes mistakes.

Absolutely, that makes sense. It’s better to watch some YouTube tutorials instead of just getting a list of parts. I didn’t hear anything about those details from you.

Because they didn't ask for that, all they did is to help them to make a build. And it's not that simple to teach all that stuff, i just can assure them that these choices are good in my book, other people may think different, there's no universal truth. Watch videos ? Sure, after several hundred of hours you may have all needed information, that'll do yeah.

Here you are, @Enderman, that's exactly what I meant. - Cooler isn't strong enough. - The motherboard is costly. - What's the point of RGB RAM? And 3600MHz won't solve the VM problem. - The crucial SSDs are QLC, which is a poor option for VMs.

It's perfect! Your feedback means a lot. While I'm generally comfortable with technology, I always want to make sure everything is correct for my job. Your help was exactly what I needed, and I really appreciate it!
