Hey! From the title, it seems the PC won’t power off properly when you put it to sleep. It keeps refusing to wake up unless you press the power button or unplug the cord. Every time I turn it on, the CMOS BIOS clears and everything resets. Here’s what the specs are: Gigabyte X570 AORUS ELITE, GeForce RTX 3080, 10GB gaming SSD, AMD Ryzen 7 5800X, 3.8GHz, 36MB, NVMe SSD, NZXT Kraken X73, 850W, G.Skill RAM.

Problably a dying cmos battery, replace the cmos battery, its a cr2032 which is like 20¢ or something

It looks strange since it only works when I put the PC to sleep and not otherwise. I haven’t experienced any problems with BIOS or CMOS before.

Sleep problems are frequent after launching new motherboards. Many companies attempt to resolve these issues. Have you upgraded your BIOS? This may already have a solution. Your CPU wasn’t available when the board was first introduced, making it highly likely the sleep resume function wasn’t thoroughly tested. The issue surfaced about two years ago. https://forum.gigabyte.us/thread/7671/gi...p-problems If the latest BIOS hasn’t addressed this, it could remain unsolved.
