Whichever one suits you most. I apply it at the top, but that could cause windows to freeze occasionally. If you prefer avoiding that issue, choose a side instead.

On a Chromebook, I placed it on the right side, yet on Windows I put it at the bottom since otherwise my windows become stuck.
