That looks like VRAM corruption to me. What GPU do you have and how old is it? Also, have you updated drivers recently? If possible run Memtestx86 (via a live USB)
I'm working with an AFOX GT610 that uses a driver from 2016, but it won't update to a newer one. I considered the option and decided to replace it with a Sapphire RX550 ix model.
Well, this card seems quite outdated, which could be the problem. I noticed a GT555M on a laptop that showed similar issues, and eventually it would crash under stress. To try extending its lifespan, you might consider using tools like MSI Afterburner to lower the GPU VRAM speed by a few hundred MHz. This will decrease performance but could help it run longer.
that is true and i realy dont care much for that card but i just bought the rx 550 4g oc from my local pc shop and ill swap it out and give it a whirl. i wont use msi afterburner as i find that the gt 610 is the only card that is not high end that i have left which the fan still works.
I don't get why you avoid MSI Afterburner. It only harms cards when you overclock, not underclock. Actually, underclocking can even extend a card's life; it just runs slower.
since i’m not sure how to operate it, i’m still grasping the concepts. i get wattman but not afterburner.
