You can test connectivity to Google DNS by running a ping or traceroute command. If you see packets arriving without issues, it suggests the DNS servers are functioning properly.

I rely on Google servers constantly without using them as an ISP. Packet loss via Google DNS often affects me 99.99% of the time. Test by pinging Cloudflare or OpenDNS—if it continues, the problem is your ISP and likely network congestion on your local network.
