The replacement motherboard you got came with pins on the back that were sticking through the anti-static wrap. Did you accidentally touch those pins because you weren’t aware of them? Which pins are connected? Probably not a problem unless you really hit bad luck with static.

I'm not certain about the exact touches, but I’d definitely have experienced a minor jolt if static had affected the board.

You’re certain you hurt yourself, but the board remains intact. I’ve placed boards directly on my bed repeatedly and still experienced no problems.
