Hello everyone, do you have any suggestions on choosing a LAN card? My Z97 gaming 9 onboard is connected via Ethernet, specifically the Killer E2200 controller, which seems to be experiencing random disconnections. I've ruled out the power outlet and checked with my ISP using a switch, but it didn't work. Now I'm trying to find a suitable replacement card, but I'm not sure what to select.

For a standard gaming or general-purpose PC on Windows, choose any gigabit option within your budget and local availability. TP-Link and Netgear are typically affordable and easy to find.

Jarsky highlighted that Intel produces highly respected 1Gbit NICs, and newer models should be suitable for most general tasks. Most operating systems probably come with a built-in driver for it as well.
