Picking a keyboard
Picking a keyboard
I own a fresh gaming setup. My previous Microsoft Natural Ergonomic 4000 Keyboard is damaged and has a faulty key.
I’ve gathered several keyboards over the years—Corsair K95 Platinum, Lenovo Mechanical Gaming, Logitech G15 and G19, Razer Anansi MMO—and all arrived brand new.
My options seem to lean toward one of these models or purchasing another used one from Ebay for around $40.
I tried a couple recently; I don’t like the loud clicks of the Lenovo, nor am I sure about the Corsair, but I haven’t dismissed them completely.
I’m still searching for reasons to choose any of these. For now, I’m sticking with my old keyboard until I decide.
I gathered multiple keyboards for consideration – Corsair K95, Lenovo Mechanical Gaming, Logitech G15 and G19, Razer Anansi MMO – all brand new in the package.
Check if you own any or have them ready to choose one.
For clarity, focusing on Corsair and Lenovo options, please share a link to the keyboard you’re interested in.
Just to emphasize, there are several models under the K95 line from Corsair over the last ten years.
Also, note that the Microsoft keyboard in question is a membrane type; it won’t match the tactile feel of a mechanical keyboard, though a non-clacking switch can approximate it.
