I found myself in an unusual situation. The photos app on Mac wasn't updating images, so I disabled iCloud photos in the photos settings and then reactivated them. But nothing worked to fix the issue. Next, I tried turning off iCloud photos again and completely cleared my library, then turned them back on. After that, I opened Launchpad, pressed Command+, selected photos, and tried to restore them from iCloud. Even though it says restoring from iCloud, the process has been stuck for a while now. A fellow Mac user, could you help me? I've been using Apple products only the past year.
I've also attempted to restart the system, but it didn't resolve the issue.
Are you sure the setup is complete? Which macOS version are you using?
