My current configuration includes:
ASUS M5A97 LE R2.0
AMD Phenom X4 955 BE - 3.2GHz stock (Cooler Master Hyper T4 fan with thermal paste)
16GB 1866MHz DDR3 Kingston Hyper Fury X (2x8)
Gigabyte G1 Gaming GTX 970
One Sandisk 240GB SSD; one 500GB Seagate 7200rpm HDD; one 680GB Samsung 5400rpm hdd.
Three case fans.
Power supply: Seasonic S12II 620w

I utilized ASUS' AI Suite II to push my CPU to its maximum using the 'Extreme' setting in Auto Tuning. Following several stability checks, I adjusted the clock to approximately 3740MHz, which aligns with a bus frequency of 233.4 x 16.0 per core. The CPU fan operates in turbo mode in BIOS, and temperatures remain manageable during gameplay (GTA V), though crashes still occur in-game without warning (blue screen - WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR).
I had to restart manually to resolve the issues.

Could anyone provide some insight? These are solid aftermarket fans, yet temperatures don’t appear excessive, so I’m puzzled about what’s happening.

EDIT: The fan currently in use is the one mentioned above.

Automatic overclocking isn't guaranteed to work perfectly. You can manually adjust it to 3.7GHz and then increase the voltage slightly, making sure it doesn't exceed 1.5V.

Automatic overclocking isn't guaranteed to work perfectly. You'd need to adjust it yourself to 3.7GHz and gradually increase the voltage, making sure it doesn't exceed 1.5V.
