The Phanteks will perform similarly well to a Noctua, slightly noisier, but still straightforward to install.

The Phanteks will perform similarly well as a Noctua, just a bit louder, and are quite simple to install.
I need to do more research, but currently the cryorig seem to cool a bit better, though only slightly. It's mainly about finding them affordable in the UK.

It all depends on personal preference. The Phanteks are available in various colors, making them simpler and more affordable for a themed build. The Noctuas, on the other hand, have a less appealing tan tone. The Noctua still outperforms the Phanteks, though not significantly. I don’t know much about the CryoRig, but based on the SR-71 image, it looks much more impressive than either of the others.

If you prioritize top performance and are willing to accept a slight compromise in aesthetics or noise levels, then this path might not be ideal. Focus on cooling efficiency rather than appearance. Skip air cooling; instead, opt for a sealed liquid cooler (unless a fully open loop custom water cooler fits your budget). A 280mm model such as the Swiftechs or NZXT Kraken x61 will provide the necessary temperature reduction.

Admitting it, the Noctuas are a less appealing tan tone. Yet they still outperform the Phanteks, if not significantly. I have no idea about the CryoRig, but based on the SR-71 image, it seems much cooler than either of the other two options.

If you prioritize top performance and are willing to accept only slight differences in temperature, then this path might not be ideal. Skip air cooling; instead, opt for a sealed liquid cooler (unless a fully open loop custom WC fits your budget). A 280mm model such as Swiftechs or NZXT Kraken x61 will provide the necessary few degrees.

I prefer air cooling, and I’m not too concerned about aesthetics. The Noctuas could complement my build, especially since the ASUS Sabertooth has those military color schemes.

The D15 or even D14 is an excellent option; it cools a TEENSY bit more effectively while being significantly cheaper, around 30$.

Good luck with your search.
I’ve found that I can purchase the CryoRig on Amazon for £87 or the Noctua for £75.

That was with the PH-TC14PE. I own the CRYORIG Ultimate on my 4790K. It's a nice rig. I also have an i7-4790K and was planning to buy the CRYORIG Ultimate. Could you share your idle and stressed CPU temperatures?
