Attempting to configure PFSense but unable to reach the web interface. Uncertain about the issue since most reports claim it functions correctly.

PFSense consistently handled this task for me, typically setting up an anti-lockout feature on the local network interface. Would you like additional details?

Did you configure specific IP ranges? Verify that your connections are properly arranged. Which devices are involved? What local network range are you operating in? Is your device assigned an automatic IP address through DHCP?

lan is set between 192.168.1.2 and 192.168.1.100. My device displays the IP, gateway, and subnet correctly on a Dell T320. It’s worth noting I’m also unable to reach my ISP router’s web interface, which suggests the issue might be with the PC itself.

Typically ISP routers are secured, so you can only adjust them via your account on the ISP site. If you're talking about a modem, it can't be changed.

You're not speaking for others, but with Comcast's service you can access it directly from your phone using the number 10.0.0.1.

Comcast also offers MAC address filtering options. For my setup, I used Spectrum, which was challenging until I understood the limitations with getting a WAN IP through OPNsense.

I figured it out—it was a mix of NordVPN's lack of use and my misconfigured LAN DHCP setup, as noted by @Electronics Wizardy. Dealing with networking after a long night can be really tough.
