Throughout my experience with Linux, I've tried Mint, Ubuntu, and Arch. Arch caused problems, so I've returned to Mint. Customization beyond built-in settings is something I'm curious about, especially since PewDiePie seems to go deep into his Mint setup. Most people seem to favor Arch for what they call "Ricing," though my Arch experience was unstable and troublesome. Linux Mint comes ready to use and performs well, particularly with my Nvidia graphics cards and VPN usage. If an app in the package manager offers a graphical interface, I'd prefer that. Otherwise, I'm open to trying it if I can find the source code or learn how. Any advice would be appreciated.

I rely on Arch for nearly six months now, always refreshing daily. I’ve installed Snapper just in case and never experienced any issues. KDE plus the wallpaperengine plugin tends to fail more often than the system itself. Arch was designed to simplify installation, and it actually works well—once you install it, you can pick your preferred drive and get Mesa drivers by default, which are among the top open-source options. I’d check for customization packages for Mint first; it seems there aren’t many available, and most apps aren’t tailored for Cinnamon. If you need more personalization, KDE is an option, though I’m not sure it’s fully supported for Mint. You might want to try ChatGPT for Mint settings—it could save time. For deeper customization, KDE is your best bet, even if it has its quirks. This distro is just another normal one with its own unique features and challenges, but plenty of guides are out there.

He likely used Arch Linux combined with Hyperland for installation. Probably saved files from an online source.
