I recently created a temporary subsonic server for my family to use while streaming. My old setup relied on Musicbee, which I prefer more, but the ease of streaming and syncing with my phone has won me over. I’m looking for a good desktop or web player that feels intuitive, works well, offers options, and lets me play my favorite tracks plus add new ones. Ideally, it should act like a Spotify client but support subsonic or similar formats. So far, I haven’t found any solid alternatives that meet all these needs. If you know of a cheaper option that performs better, please share. I’m not keen on paying for Plex, but if it improves things, I might consider it.
