I've been playing persona 5 on rpcs3 for about 30 hours of ingame time (i've gotten quite far to give up on emulation). since the blog on rpcs3 about persona 5 was removed i didn't know where to ask but yeah i'll just try my luck here. my specs are: i5 3570 12gb ram gtx 1050 windows 10 pro wd 5400 rpm 640gb hdd Being that this emulator is in its beta (not quite sure), i expect the game not to run perfectly. my experience on persona 5 consists mainly of: -choppy anime cutscenes (i wanna know if there is a fix for this because i saw others online where the opening scene is just fine but mine stutters) -30 fps during battles -13-30 fps during palace/mementos level exploration -13-18 fps during exploration -30 fps during cg cutscenes but with some slight delay in voices but not sounds -20-30 fps during exploration on empty areas I also tried the 60 fps patch which only works fine on menus or parts that can reach 60 fps but the problem is that the text duration kinda lengthens and i didn't like it so i removed it. If there is someone else on this forum playing persona 5 on rpcs3 and it runs good. what advice can you give me? can you give me a copy of your config.yml file so i can try it with mine? but i think it'll not help much because of my old pc specs but i'll still appreciate it tho

Currently, none of the titles function seamlessly or are fully playable, as they remain under development, which explains the ongoing issues.

I expected a solution but couldn’t locate a fix for the choppy anime cutscenes. It’s all I needed, and I’m happy to play it as is. Every time I search, no one mentions the same issue I am facing. All the videos I see have smooth transitions, which makes me feel a bit envious of that small detail.

Currently it's just the way it is, you can only adjust it a bit but it isn't fully stable yet :v. You'll need to be patient right now.

I tested Dirt 3 on it and it took about five minutes to load. Once it loaded, the graphics were all distorted and running at around 8 frames per second. Welcome to new emulators—it might take years for everything to work smoothly (remember the PS2 emulator? Q_Q)

I've always liked playing personas from the start, especially since persona 3. I managed to get it on PS2, but I didn't have the budget for a PS3 when they released persona 5 on PS3/PS4. I really wanted to experience it and discovered rpcs3, which gave me some satisfaction even though the performance was limited. Still, I kept enjoying it despite the low frame rates and those annoying stuttering cutscenes.

I just installed the PS3 modder, though the PS2 emulator works too; getting a used PS3 around 60 euros seems doable.

I still lack funds to purchase anything... I usually don’t have cash for things, man. My PC, except for the graphics card, is about 60 euros, hehe.
