Hey, I see your issue. You need to adjust folder permissions in Windows 8.1 for the C drive. Try using the Properties window → Security tab and editing the relevant folders. Let me know if you need more help!

You really need complete authority over that directory... It's frustrating when I can't let my computer perform what I wish.

Hi EMENCII! Start by owning the folder before changing permissions. Follow these steps: click the file or folder, choose Properties from the menu, then go to the Security tab. Click the Advanced button. In the Advanced Security Settings window, select the Owner tab to see the current owner (like TrustedInstaller). Click Edit and pick 'User' from the list to change it. You can also try TakeOwnershipPro for a simpler process.
