Hello! I was attempting to purchase a budget-friendly Windows tablet for school using my savings. The device seemed fine until I tried resetting it via an American megatrends page to wipe its TPM. I agreed to proceed, but when prompted for the recovery key I didn’t have one, so I selected “skip this drive.” That led to another screen warning that the reset failed and all data was intact, requiring a second reset. After rebooting, it kept restarting repeatedly, displaying the brand logo before shutting down completely. Now it’s stuck in that loop and won’t boot at all. I can access the BIOS but nothing else works. Please help! Thank you.

Use a Windows recovery USB, start from there, erase the disk, and then reinstall Windows. If you lack that drive, get another machine to make one.

You’ve created a Windows 10 USB installer. You’re looking into starting from BIOS to boot the USB and removing the drive, or doing it during a Windows reinstall. Let me know which approach you want to try. Thanks!

You start from a USB by placing it at the top of the boot order in BIOS, then erase the disk during Windows installation. The system prompts you about which drive to use, showing all existing partitions. You remove the unwanted ones and proceed.
