In fact, this RAM sometimes doesn't work well with Ryzen. Consider using Gskill Tritent Z / Royal instead. Still, you might need to update your BIOS and chipset drivers if you haven't already.

It seems the problem lies more with the frequency than the RAM type itself. I’m not sure which RAM model Linus used, but it appears AMD CPUs tend to struggle with RAM speeds above around 3200 MHz. This can cause instability, especially in gaming. I believe the videos discussing this were focusing on RAM speed. It might not be too hard to search for more info if you’d like.
