Exploring Geekbench revealed some intriguing details in the unnamed part of CPUs. Often in these sections, engineering samples and prototypes are available. The first one corresponds to a 36-core model (GenuineIntel Family 6 Model 106 Stepping 5) and the second to a 24-core one (GenuineIntel Family 6 Model 106 Stepping 4). Both use the LGA 4189 socket, support up to 3200 MT/s with 8 DDR4 channels, and run at 10nm. The platform is named Whitley, and it supports PCIe 4.0. The chipset C621A isn’t present here. One submission mentions the Supermicro X12DDW-A6, which hasn’t been released yet but belongs to the X12 lineup. This board is designed for dual CPUs and was used in their WIO series servers. A specific model found is the Supermicro SYS-610C-TR. Another entry shows an Intel Xeon Gold 6330N with 16 cores and 32 threads, paired with the Supermicro X12DPU-6. This board also serves as a dual CPU platform for some unknown UIO series servers. In single-core performance, these Xeons match a Ryzen 5 3600, though Geekbench data supports this. The Epyc 7643 based on Zen 3 stands out with 48 cores, challenging the 3800X and 9700K in single-threaded tasks, while still outperforming even the Threadripper 3990x in multi-core scenarios. The motherboard used is the Wiwynn SV302A-U, which doesn’t provide much insight.
