Hi, I’m exploring RAM OC now. The first thing I noticed was my memory setup isn’t great—GSKILL Aegis 3000 CL16. I boosted the frequency to 3266MHz and then adjusted timings, but I want to verify stability. What tool do you suggest for checking stability? Also, how can I measure the improvement in my OC? Thanks!

RAM overclocking involves complex steps with many risks. Stability checks are essential since RAM problems can mimic software or hardware faults. Expect minor performance boosts at best, and be cautious—corruption from RAM can harm the OS or programs. If you’re doing it for fun, proceed carefully and follow the guide thoroughly.

I prefer TestMem 5 (TM5) with the Anta Extreme setup to sharpen my memory. I also enjoy Linpack Xtreme 1.15 and run 8GB passes. To track my improvements, I use Aida64.

You don’t have access to the paid Aida64 version for testing. Is there another option you can use instead?
