Someone else observed frame drops in the Spider-Man remaster and started suspecting an issue with the game.

When using multiple monitors, start HW Monitor during gameplay to check for decreasing clock speeds or hitting maximum limits.

I checked it myself and everything seems normal. The CPU speeds remain steady, never dropping, and the temperature stays consistently around 80º. The GPU temperatures cap at roughly 77º, and its clock speeds don’t change much. Power consumption drops significantly—from about 250-280W to 170-200W—while the PSU handles it smoothly and the cables aren’t overloaded.

You're wondering if your system is experiencing thermal throttling and considering undervolting along with the 5800X's features. That could really help performance.

The only idea that comes to mind is that the power your PSU provides to your GPU becomes inconsistent over time, causing the GPU to reduce its power usage. You might want to adjust your in-game settings or GPU clock speeds to see if the issue resolves.
