I highly suggest starting with the 5700XT for 1440p. The lowest I’d consider is a 2060, though I wouldn’t advise purchasing it since the 5600XT offers better value.

This part is already set up for the GPU beforehand... I can change the memory, but it won’t save much performance for just a few frames.

Maintaining stable temperatures removes most concerns about pushing performance beyond limits. That’s why people refer to it as “free performance.” Factory overclocking tips usually don’t apply here.

I enjoy pushing performance so I’m okay with that... But remember, an overclocked card needs careful handling. I installed a cooler from a future year on mine, which keeps things running smoothly. After an hour of MSI Kombustor, I hit a peak temperature of 73°C with my high-performance setup.
