I recently switched from a 32GB 3200MHz setup (4x8GB) to a 64GB 3600MHz configuration (4x16GB) on my Asus B550 TUF. I've experienced blue screens during app and game use. I turned on DOCP on the motherboard but opted to underclock to 3200MHz to prevent issues. Any advice on optimizing RAM or working with this board would be appreciated. Thank you!

First I’d verify the memory is identical, because purchasing two kits of the same model doesn’t guarantee compatibility. Remove all the memory and check the sticker—there should be a version number like "Ver. 4.31" or "ver. 5.43". If the numbers differ, it’s likely an incompatibility issue between the DIMMs. If they match, examine the first digit after the decimal point; this indicates whether the sticks are single-rank or dual-rank. A 4 means single rank, possibly a BIOS problem, board mismatch, or a defective DIMM. A 3 means dual rank, which would require quad rank configuration. Using quad rank with Ryzen CPUs can cause performance drops, as the memory controller efficiency declines significantly. To mitigate this, adjust the vSOC voltage—setting it to 1.15V on most CPUs usually optimizes performance, though tweaking between 1.1V and 1.2V might help slightly (avoid exceeding 1.2V for regular use).
