My game runs smoothly on my current setup but struggles with GTA 5. It’s running at low settings, and I’m seeing much lower frames than expected. The memory issue seems to be affecting performance too. Upgrading hardware might help, but it’s not the only solution.

Due to the subpar and unoptimized port, and since your computer isn't designed for gaming, this further reduces its performance.

Attempt to boost performance further, especially for CPU-heavy tasks. GTA IV was problematic the last time; running at full settings on an i7 6700 + GTX 560 Ti gave better frames than lowering the settings.

It's not about making it look like a gaming PC—it's about what you need it to do.

Using standard GTA 4 installation files won’t guarantee perfect performance. Many updates can improve functionality and stability.

I attempted that and the performance was extremely poor—about 12 frames per second on every screen at 1080p resolution.

Be honest, that GPU is actually worse than the integrated one your i3 has.
