It seems it's time to replace the thermal paste, 91 is considered high for just Chrome.

If the GPU gets too hot, it's a good sign to upgrade both the CPU and GPU.

consider other ideas to keep things fresh. Replacing existing fans might also help improve the outcome.

Have you taken the time to dust your fans? Consider doing so to prevent dust from accumulating, which can restrict airflow and reduce their performance.

Unless the fans are damaged or stuck, they won't help replace them. At least clean them and ensure your exhaust vents are clear. For repasting, it's generally a simple procedure—search your laptop's model online and find a YouTube tutorial. If you're unfamiliar with the process or it seems complex, it's better to have a professional handle it.

Make sure air circulates properly through vents and fans, inspect the cooling system, and clean it if necessary.

Remember to use the new thermal pads from They provide PTM phase change thermal pads that deliver top performance, and they keep highlighting this in their latest videos, lol.

I've encountered several laptops, you can search for "laptop model repaste/disassembly" online to understand the process better. You should be able to locate your details on a label or within manufacturer update tools. You might need particular screwdriver types (often Torx screws) and the disassembly can be quite demanding depending on the model. I hope you won't have to dismantle much to reach the CPU and GPU components—they're usually clearly marked and often protected by a single cooler with heat pipes leading to the fans. When cleaning the fans, ensure you hold them steady so they don't spin. For thermal paste, NT-H2 works well and lasts a long time.
