I recently changed my RAM from 16GB at 2400MHz to 16GB at 3200MHz, and now the CPU is constantly running at full capacity across all cores, even during game lobbies. In Fortnite, my game occasionally freezes for about ten seconds, mostly at the beginning of matches. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Your setup looks solid: Ryzen 5 5600X, GTX 1080, 16GB 3200MHz RAM, 250GB SSD, Samsung 750 EVO, and a 750W EVGA power supply with 80+ Gold certification.

Checking how your CPU performs at full load. Are you monitoring it via Task Manager or another tool? Is an XMP profile active? Could you verify the memory speed and clock details using CPU-Z?

Have you attempted to reset the CMOS after replacing the RAM? The device could still retain residual settings interfering with the fresh memory.

W7 was recognized for performing a system assessment following hardware modifications that could strain resources. The second recommendation is to monitor the Task Manager.

This setting is fully active in the game. Previously it was about 10%–20%, and now it's around 10%. My frame rate has risen from 110 to roughly 125.

I’ve checked the system and completed several troubleshooting actions. Here’s a summary:

- Restarted the computer to clear temporary issues.
- Ran Task Manager and filtered by “Application” tab to identify high CPU users.
- Checked for background processes consuming resources.

For a screenshot of Task Manager sorted by application CPU usage, please let me know if you’d like me to describe how to take it or if you need further guidance.

I turned off my second 4K monitor, and the stuttering stopped. I’ll upload a photo of the task manager soon.
