Hey there, I'm putting together a setup with a Q6600 2x2 DDR2 800 and a GTX 750. I want to play games like Dota 2 and StarCraft 2. I have the hardware myself, so I’m confident the Q6600 can handle better GPUs. Thanks!

I'm not familiar with DOTA 2, but I expect Starcraft 2 to run slower, yet still functional.

When you run StarCraft on low difficulty—especially in multiplayer—it usually runs smoothly.

Determining if the issue is GPU or CPU-related requires checking performance metrics, error messages, and system behavior.

StarCraft requires a lot of CPU power, so it's suitable for SC. Dota I'm not familiar with it, so I can't give any advice.

Yes, you might achieve higher than 60fps on low settings depending on your system and game performance.

I believe so. Not completely certain, though.

I understand the initial performance will be fine in SC2 until around medium resolution on 1080p. Dota should also run well at least with medium settings. However, FPS might drop during intense moments.
