I'm curious if anyone owns those parts and has played GTA V. You're thinking about getting one but are worried about performance. Any advice would be great! (Note: I also corrected your edit about the integrated GPU.)

It seems to work well at reduced difficulty levels.

I own an R7 260x and can run Med-High with smooth frame rates, but I read on TotalBiscut's PortReport about issues with integrated graphics. It seems like it shouldn't be too severe. Alright, you're right—integrated GPU isn't being used, though the CPU might still be limiting performance.

Typically, low-medium means the majority of settings are set higher than the minimum (Normal is the lowest level).

It's hard to believe your results wouldn't be heavily affected by the absence of sufficient VRAM.

I had a Dual 270X in regular gaming mode with decent graphics, and I'm pulling around 70-80 frames per second. My CPU runs an Intel Core i7-8320 (or similar) up to 4. Check out the Reddit threads—there are over 500 posts where people share their FPS setups.

I'm running at 900p with no MSAA, even on reflections—it's frustrating. All advanced graphics options are off, and I've reduced population variety a bit. Everything else is set to high or very high. I'm pushing my system hard, but my CPU and VRAM are the main issues.

Consider that the technology in your GPU is a little outdated compared to mine, only slightly so. http://gpu.userbenchmark.com/Compare/AMD...3151vs3149 This shows how they stack up against each other. My GPU has been tweaked a bit more.
