The boot time seems unusually long for your new MMOBO with the ROG Strix B650e. With the 5600MHz DOCP enabled, it might be due to unusual post times on DDR5. Check if there’s a specific setting to adjust or disable that could help speed things up.

The startup time on my 4790k is faster than the previous three units because they require more initialization and POST setup. DDR5 also improved performance since it updates during a cold boot.

It's completely normal to have questions like that. Just want to confirm if this is typical.

From my perspective, the board consistently runs very slowly, often taking more than a minute to start up. Although this issue occurred during a BIOS update a few months prior when I installed a system with that component and used 2x32GB RAM instead of the standard 2x16GB, it doesn’t necessarily mean it’s the worst possible problem. Still, it should be considered quite problematic.

It seems like things are as they are right now. We're all hoping for improvements in the future, especially faster boot times, since keeping RAM speeds up could mean longer waits before the system starts.

You might try adjusting a few memory training settings to speed things up, but I haven’t tested it on that board yet so I’m unsure if it helps.
