Performance of Batman: Arkham Knight.
I have a GTX 680 2 GB and it is definitely acceptable. I won't say it's perfect, but at this time, I believe the issues will be ironed out. The Witcher 3 was already great at launch, but couldn't quite run it at 2560x1440, and had to stick to 1080p. Though with the latest driver updates and game patches, I can certainly play it at 1440p with only a few areas dipping below 60 FPS. The overall quality of performance of Batman AK at launch is not as great as TW3 or GTA 5, but the game is amazing so far. There is a very awesome grit and style to the graphics. It goes far beyond just poly-count and texture detail. It has a little something extra that is very great looking. It is probably all in the post-processing, but it looks very nice, and I am only at Low texture quality (due to 2 GB VRAM). It can only get better from here. Also one more thing to mention: I also got it on GMG with the coupon code. So after the 40% off, it's like I got the Season Pass for free.
Using my rig allows me to reach up to 30 frames per second during high settings, though it often falls short of that. The performance can be really disappointing at times.
After applying the update, observe the performance metrics, then evaluate the results before making a decision on whether to proceed.
Same here, must wait until the end of the month to download the game. Got it with version 970. Excited about the performance stats. That’s a problem with 970—what resolution is it? 1440p or 4K?
Just 29% of positive reviews on Steam... thinking about the challenges, it’s hard to believe they managed to maintain so many good ones.
I hope they resolve the problems quickly

GTX 980 / 4790k performance is limited to around 30fps. I increased it to 60fps. It usually works fine when playing as Batman, but issues appear when moving quickly or switching scenes. The frame rate drops sharply during events like summoning the Batmobile or speeding through the city. Noticeable drops occur from 60fps down to as low as 30 frames per second. Overall, it feels like a significant performance hit. It looks like developers haven’t optimized the game to run smoothly above 30fps, so I’d recommend keeping it capped at that level. If you manage stable 30fps, it could be a decent experience for fans of the Batman series. I received this with a GPU, but I’d advise waiting before purchasing unless you can reliably hit 30fps.
I enjoy playing it well and there are no issues. It's been quite an enjoyable experience so far.
