The issue started after adjusting the resolution to 1080p, yet performance remained poor. I'm aiming for 60 FPS, so I need to adjust the settings further. What could be contributing to this problem?

Reinstall your drivers or ensure they are current. I have a 4790k with a GTX 1080, and I'm using maximum settings at 1440p, but frame rates often stay around 60 and occasionally reach the high 40s.

Maybe it's that, because I previously played Crysis 3 at full resolution on 1080p using this computer.

Origins really sucks... Odyssey is a bit better, though they're using an old game engine and pushing too much from it. This makes the game super CPU-intensive when many NPCs are active.

Because you answered my question, it seems like the only option is to reduce the settings and play at 1080p. The thread can be closed.

Denuvo and VMprotect are actually consuming your CPU cores, sorry.

With an i7 8060k running at 5ghz across all cores and a GTX 2080 ti, your performance looks consistent. At 1920 x 1080 the average frame rate was 115, dropping to 104 at 2560 x 1440 and 66 at 3840 x 1260 when using high and ultra settings. Your results are exactly what you expected.

It seems you're experiencing issues with performance, but you might want to have looked into it more thoroughly before purchasing.

There are many unusual games available.
I believe Ghost Recon Wildlands is impressive.
At least ACO is decent. I don't feel the same about Wildlands.
