Hi peeps, Any idea why ram would not be running at max speed with the DOCP profile set? everything in the BIOS suggests it should be, but hardware info and task manager are both reporting it running at 2133, it should be 3200. Its Corsair vengeance LPX memory and a Asus b450, I don't see any reasons to why it wouldn't be running at 3200, I know sometimes things can miss report, but its hardware info, task manager and I also checked using cpu-z. I would appreciate if anyone has any suggestions or ideas
Thanks
It could be the CPU's Infinity Fabric connection matching its capabilities, especially if it's a relatively new Ryzen model. Still, not everyone is convinced.
Which CPU model and BIOS version are you using? Certain AM4 processors and specific BIOS updates may affect memory performance. If this isn't the problem, you might need to configure the XMP profile directly since the motherboard isn't recognizing it properly.
You're using a 2700X with BIOS set to ALASKA 1072009. It seems unrelated to your CPU hardware, so you might want to review the BIOS settings and try adjusting the profile.
