Hey everyone. I just completed my build and while verifying everything worked properly in the BIOS, I observed that despite not being hot, the CPU temperatures were at 38°C*. I expected them to be lower around the 20s°C* during the first boot since it was just sitting in BIOS. Is a reading of 38°C* typical for the first boot while in that state? I usually see averages between 30-50°C* when idle, but this felt warmer than expected. Thanks!

Hey, without knowing what system you got seems normal to me.

For an unknown CPU, I can't determine the specific chip. What processor are you referring to?

TJMax reaches 100°C, which means your CPU will slow down if it gets that hot. Try to keep it under 80°C if possible. I haven’t tested any Ryzen 7000 processors yet.

This would be a bit high, but reasonable considering the chip's specifications.
