You're seeing those high settings and resolutions because they're pushing the limits of your hardware. With SSAA 4x enabled, you're likely getting a smoother experience, though it may require more power. Higher resolutions like 1440p at full settings are common for optimal performance. It's normal to notice better results with these adjustments.

I changed to SXAA 2x but only see 60 to 70 frames per second, something seems off.

Hello, your question is clear. The results seem appropriate for a 2080S, even though the benchmarks come from a 1660Ti.

I chose to keep the name as 2080 Sup because it was the previous card. With 1660 Ti and SAA 2x active, I achieved around 40-50 fps, which is a noticeable improvement over 20 fps with just 2080 S.

Allowing SSAA 2x means your GPU must display the 3D environment using nearly the same resolution as 3840x2160, which is essentially 4K. This is expected behavior.

Higher detail creates more strain on the CPU. This explains the drop in performance when you increase the resolution to 4x. You're already at 1440p—why not skip the extra AA?
