reporting back, this setup runs on a 9900k with HT turned off at 5.1 and 4GB RAM at 1440p/98Hz on high settings with TAA enabled. During map loads the CPU was fully utilized, while walking around used 50-60% CPU. In combat scenes, usage spiked to 70-80% with occasional drops to 85fps (gpu limited), and there was a slight stutter every minute or so—no troubleshooting done. The game is quite CPU-heavy; adding another stick would help but won’t fix everything. Running single-channel definitely causes FPS to drop to around 50-60fps.

Gskill offers the highest compatibility. For better value, consider the models linked above. If you prefer saving money, the cl16 3200 works well and dual channel provides a noticeable upgrade. Tridentz is slightly pricier but improves texture quality and reduces stuttering.

I noticed the 3600MHz model in my region offers two versions—14 latency and 19 (CL14 and CL19). The 14 is considered better, but I’m curious about what that really means. How significant are the differences between them, especially since you can see price variations too? Thanks again for the quick clarification!

The variation isn’t usually worth it, and cl19 feels too slow. I’d prefer cl16 at 3200 if possible. Maybe you can locate a cl18 at 3600—Intel should handle that. I think the Trident Z heatspreaders look a bit bulkier than the Ripjaw V, though I’m not entirely sure.
