Hello, I've overclocked my i7 8700K to 5.2 GHz at 1.3V and it's been working fine for about five months. However, when I start the PC, it briefly drops to 5.2 GHz for around five minutes before returning to normal speeds. The BIOS still shows 5.2 GHz. This is happening on my MSI Z370 Carbon Pro motherboard. What could be causing this behavior?

Cpu-Z maintains temperatures up to 75°C during stress tests, but the actual readings are consistently near 66–73°C.

Temperatures are looking decent. There haven’t been many updates recently. Winders seem to have refreshed their plans.
